HFSI BEAUMONT PRE PRIMARY and CAIE Grades 1 & 2

Sports Day 2023-24

Continuing the tradition of imparting a holistic education to our energetic students, HFS International organised the Annual Sports Day/ Athletic Meet 2023-24, for the entire school, in the month of December.

The Sports Day of Beaumont HFSI Pre Primary and CAIE Grades 1 & 2 was held on 13th December 2023. Head of School Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik welcomed the esteemed gathering and also the Chief Guest -Dr, Smita Puniyani and Guest of Honour Mrs. Toral Mehta

The hosts for the day – Erica and Aadya, from upper Primary infused the event with cheer and enthralled the audience throughout the event.

The theme for this year was Moon Walk- A Discovery of Space
The mascots, Energetic Astronauts, showcased their agility and sportsmanship with a delightul display of their moonwalking skills thus commencing an intergalactic journey along with the cosmic stars of Beaumont and Grades 1 & 2.

An impressive Walk Past of all the students, kickstarted the event. Students of Beaumont were dressed in their class colours symbolizing beautiful flowers from a garden, followed by CAIE Grades 1 and 2, aptly dressed for the occasion too. Stirring marching music by the school band set the tone of the day. The students were led by their Sports Captain and house representatives from CAIE Grade 5. This was followed by the school song and Torch Ceremony - the bright yellow flame of the torch is a symbol of strength, valour, and fearlessness - qualities that sports inculcates in children. Keeping with the tradition, the Head of School, Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik along with the official guests initiated the balloon-releasing ceremony, inspiring the students to energise and let go of all tension, inhibitions, and negativity

Next, Racing Time!!! Students of each class, from the tiny Toddlers to the students of Grade 2, showcased their amazing drill display. This was followed by the races for all the classes. Fun races for the students of Beaumont , Flat and Obstacle races for Grades 1 and 2. After the completion of each race, the winners were felicitated with medals and certificates by the Head of School, Mrs.Kalyani Patnaik and the Chief Guests.The student races were followed by races for our Sporty Parents as well.

The meet concluded with the playing of the National Anthem, by our ever versatile school band.

We are thankful to the entire team of Sportsters for training our little learners so well.

Worrying gets you nowhere. If you turn up worrying about how you’re going to perform, you’ve already lost. Train hard, turn up, run your best and the rest will take care of itself.
