Insightful Leads Episode 4 Young Budding Authors Of HFS

On the 27th of September, Episode 4 of Insightful Leads with Young Budding Authors of HFS took the stage, featuring ten aspiring student authors from Hiranandani Foundation School. This event, a captivating panel discussion, was a source of awe and excitement for the audience. Prior to the discussion, Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik, the Head of the School, marked the occasion with the inauguration of the Scholastic Writers’ Board, acknowledging the impressive achievements of these published writers. Mrs. Jyotsna Singh, the Scholastic representative, delivered an impassioned call to action, urging all present to embark on their own narrative journeys with the words, "I want all your names up on this board!"

The engaging discourse between the moderators and the ten novelists was aimed at probing the creative minds behind their literary works. Neev Ramani, the first interlocutor, kicked off the conversation with the question, "What influenced you most when writing your story?" The ensuing responses unveiled a rich tapestry of inspirations, spanning personal experiences and revered role models. Krithika Kumar shared her emotional connection with her grandmother, while Adhrit Das found inspiration in the visionary Elon Musk. Eshee Ramavat even crafted her protagonist's persona in her own image, underscoring the unique perspective each littérateur brought to the table.

The conversation then veered into a discussion of the genres and writing styles these wordsmiths favoured, as proposed by Isha Ganesan. A common thread ran through the panel: a deep affinity for fiction and fantasy. The storytellers, notably Tanvi Sharma, articulated how these genres opened doors to boundless narrative possibilities. This spirit of exploration was evident in their plotlines; Vaanya Khanna ventured into a world where books vanished. When asked what they enjoyed most about their stories, Kinshuk Narula expressed delight in placing eccentric characters in an otherwise ordinary world. Abhimanyu Gupta inquired about the life incidents that had motivated the writers to pen their stories. Ariv Tiwari recounted his initial encounter with the historical fiction genre, inspired by Markus Zusak's 'The Book Thief'. Manav Gaur and Vivaan Marathe shared personal anecdotes that had shaped their narratives, offering a glimpse into the creative genesis of their literary works.

The discussion concluded with an interactive session, following which, principal Mrs. Patnaik extended her heartfelt gratitude to the ten raconteurs and encouraged all students to embark on their own literary odysseys. The episode was nothing short of a resounding success, limning the talents and passion of the authors. It resolutely subverted the notion that age is not a constraint on creativity and that the boundless human imagination knows no bounds.

On that note, concluded yet another successful episode of Insightful Leads.
