HFSI Fest

The school celebrated the Environment Week with great zeal and passion. Human beings share an everlasting relation with Mother Nature and this week provided an opportunity to the students to express their concern regarding several issues that plague the environment in the present times. This indeed was a noble endeavour to bring environmental issues to life, as it were, for the children through a wide range of fun, interactive educational activities.The Environment Week began with the Art Competition to spread awareness among students and develop higher level of thinking skills to generate means and measures to protect environment.The students made colourful posters on topics such as 'SAY NO to Plastic' and 'Rainwater Harvesting'. They planted saplings in the school compound thereby playing their part in keeping the environment clean for a better tomorrow. This occasion was graced by the Principal ma'am who along with the students acknowledged the support extended by the gardener.The Environment Week drew to a close with the students going for Nature's Walk where they keenly observed the grandeur of Nature in various shapes, sizes and colours. This noble initiative not only sensitized the students about the pressing environmental problems but also encouraged them to be conscientious global citizens .
