HFSI FREQUENCY STORM - the CAIE Grade VII Radio Show organised by students

Taking cognizance of the current, challenging times and with the sole aim of providing a platform to showcase talent as well as unleash pent-up energies, a radio show was organised by the students of grade VII on Saturday, 19 December at 7 p.m. The show was an eclectic mix of music, art, literature, drama et al and paved way for a much-needed and entertaining interface between parents and students. The invitation was also extended to the teachers and the event, which was attended by all parents, was officially flagged off by the principal, Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik. The show commenced with a collaborative art presentation, followed by skits that addressed pertinent issues of the day vis-a-vis generation gap and social media. The event proved to be a launch pad for grade VII student, Krishiv Chhabria as he spoke about the first book authored by him (available on Amazon and entitled The Cosmic Chronicles). The interview organised for parents was a thoroughly entertaining series of candid and quick repartees that regaled one and all. Dance performances, solo singing acts, Rubik’s cube presentation and a plethora of heterogenous performances were witnessed by the attendees. The event ended with a literary quiz that saw both parents and students vying for the top spots. The vote of thanks was proposed by the class teacher Ms. Yogita Agni. The event, as echoed in the principal’s words ‘was one-of-a-kind’ and established that ‘every child is a genius in his/her own right’.
