MALTA AWARENESS PROGRAM FOR HFSI IBDP STUDENTS

On the 20th of July, 2021, students of HFSI attended a Malta Awareness Program where the High Commissioner of the Republic of Malta to India, Mr. Reuben Guaci, himself was present.

To start off this auspicious Program, two students from DP-2 of HFSI, Kiara Menon and Ishaan Shetty, had prepared a presentation highlighting the journey, experience and achievements of HFSI.

This was shortly followed by our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Kalyani Patnaik, welcoming Mr. Reuben Gauci and the other program heads that were present, with the welcome speech!

After that, the much-awaited Malta Awareness Program began! We were informed of Malta’s immense culture, their coveted tourist attractions and their incredible weather and natural beauty, in their landscapes. But that’s not all! We also learned statistical facts about Malta as a whole that truly convinced everyone to, one day, take a trip to Malta - their incredibly high literacy rates (thanks to free education!), beneficial healthcare as well as the fact that quite a lot of Maltese people were fluent in both English AND Maltese, making it a number 1 contender for Indian Students (whether it be for a vacation OR for pursuing their further education!).

This was an incredible opportunity that not many students receive and, needless to say, every single student from HFSI IBDP learned a lot about Malta!
