HFS International Intra grade school conclave 2020

During the pandemic situation with their spirits high and strive to know more, share more, and learn more the IGCSE students of grade 10th under the guidance of Mrs.Jagruti D Joshi and the mentorship of our respected Principal ma'am Mrs. Kalyani Patnaik organized and hosted the HFS International Intra grade school conclave. The conclave was a half-day event where IGCSE GRADE 10th graders had participated in fruitful debate and discussions about the age-old pertinent topic "Is the Print Media A cut above digital media ?".
This entire event was a student initiative and planned over the time span of 1 month. The academic honesty was kept on priority through the process. The topic allowed the participants of the debate to be more creative in their speeches and arguments as there was a great variety of fields within print media and digital media that the participants had the opportunity to express. The structure of the event and the criteria required for judging covered the creative aspects of how in the current situation the blended use of both print media and digital media has helped students to sail through the difficult situation. Insight thoughts ranging from reading a newspaper holding in hand to reading a book on Kindle to the online teaching-learning process were put forward by the participants. It is a step towards nurturing and allowing HFS International students to be future-ready. Overall students were allowed to delve into event organization and hosting an event. These skills help our students to succeed in organizing and planning more events in this highly competitive world.
Overall it was a huge success !!
