HSST Virtual Class


HFSI began the academic year 2020-21 with HSST Virtual Class from June 2020.

HSST Virtual Class is conducted twice a week for students of Grade 1 to Grade 5 for 30 minutes, and once a week for students of Grade 6 to Grade 10 for 40 minutes.

Methodology

HFSI follows an age progressive Fitness program specifically designed to develop and improve full body strength, overall fitness, flexibility, strengthen supporting muscles, even out muscle imbalance, improve mobility, correct posture and improve coordination, while also concentrating on the FUNdamentals of sports.

The main focus is to engage and motivate students to being physically active even at home. Additionally, build on skills required to improve in sports while students miss out on playing sports.

Primary students are engaged through safe and fun games promoting hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, spacial awareness and footwork skills that are all building blocks to developing specific sport skills.

Secondary students are engaged through specific sports skills, body weight strength training, cardio, yoga workouts planned specifically to build on overall fitness and sports skills.
